My current major is radiography. Radiography is used to diagnose or treat patients by recording images of the internal structure of the body to assess the presence or absence of disease. I chose this major because I see my future working in the healthcare field. I want to be able to help people but not on a extreme level like surgeons. With radiography, this is perfect because since I plan on becoming an ultrasound tech, I'll be able to help pregnant women check the progress of their child and help create meaningful memories.
My current career goals is to continue doing research about my field and learning new information about it. This is meaningful to me because it involves my future and the rest of my life. I want to make my family proud as the first generational person going to college. Right now I'm just focused on the next steps ahead as I pursue this field. I could either settle for my associates or take it further by going to MIT school after getting my degree.
